EcoHood- DesignVerse 2025 Design-a-thon Winner
I participated in DesignVerse 2025 at UCR, a 24-hour design-a-thon. This was my first ever "hack-a-thon" and my team (of two people) ended up winning in two of the 8 categories! We won the "Deep Sea Research track" for our extensive focus on user research as well as the "Best .tech domain name" (ecohood.tech). Our project was a local sustainability connector app that connects neighborhoods to eco-initiatives and encourages hyperlocal environmental action and community empowerment. (backed by research!!) Thank you to the people of DesignVerse for the awesome event :)
